WHAT IS MANGO CUSTARD?
Sweet Mango Custard with Custard Powder is a simple and delicious dessert. You just mix custard powder with milk and sugar on the stovetop, then let it set and chill in the refrigerator. It’s one of the quickest and easiest desserts to make. While traditional Pakistani desserts like Kulfi or Sooji Ka Halwa are classics, for me, this is one of the best Pakistani/Indian dessert recipes. This feels like a bowl of my childhood. If you grew up in Pakistan, you know that Mango Custard is a nostalgic treat, and it certainly is for me. It takes me back to my childhood in Pakistan. This Pakistani/Indian recipe was very popular then and still is today. Who doesn’t love Mango? I could have Mango Delight for breakfast, Mango Ice cream for lunch, and Mango Custard for dinner. It’s my favorite dessert fruit! I remember when we first moved to America, mangoes weren’t as popular here, and classic Pakistani/Indian desserts like Mango Custard weren’t well-known either.
