Sure, deviled eggs may be an odd thing to crave for a snack, but I decided: To hell with societal norms! I am making them for an after-school snack! I love traditional deviled eggs and I made these in a similar way, with sriracha added for spice and flavor and rice vinegar instead of white. With a dollop of extra sriracha on top and a garnish of green onions, these were so delicious, spicy, and flavorful!

While I may be a horrible egg peeler, I am happy to say that I was able to salvage at least a few finished deviled eggs to take pretty photographs for the blog. Four were beautiful, eight were…not. Please, don’t shy away from this recipe if you are self-conscious about your egg-peeling prowess. I assure you, even the ugly eggs were very tasty. I’ve tried every trick in the book- plunging them in an ice bath, running under cold water while peeling, boiling with baking soda… nothing works. Anyone have any tried and true methods out there for this novice egg peeler? A helpful trick for deviled eggs- keep a damp paper towel to wipe off the knife after cutting each egg in half. This will ensure you end up with a clean white egg with no yolk bits. Yolk is a funny word. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did- whether it be for a party or an afternoon snack!
