Green Chutney is a breeze to freeze. Pop it in an ice tray or stash it in a ziplock bag and give it a chill. Three hours before you wanna serve it up, just let it thaw. You can whip this chutney up well ahead of time, and it won’t lose its texture, flavor, or thickness.
INGREDIENTS
Cilantro- It needs to be fresh cilantro. Discard all the black or dying leaves. Mint- It needs to be fresh mint. Discard all the black or dying leaves and also discard the stem or the chutney will be sour. Black Salt- A green chutney will be incomplete without black salt. Ice- To make sure the bright green color stays fresh. Ginger- only 1 inch ginger needed for this recipe.
