Quick 15-Minute Tomato Chutney , also known as ‘Tamatar Ki Chutney’, is a richly flavorful condiment, widely enjoyed in India and has also become popular in Pakistan, although it may not be as widely embraced there. This Indian/Pakistan dip recipe requires few ingredients. It’s so easy and quick to come together. This is one of the few dip recipes that requires ginger garlic paste. It’s made freshly ripe tomatoes. This is a savory dip just like Pudina Chutney, Green Chutney, and Garlic Chutney.

INGREDIENTS
Tomatoes- Make sure your tomatoes are fresh and ripe. Black caraway (Kalongi)- I like to add Kalongi to this recipe. Black salt- use for subtle tangy flavor. Green pepper and cilantro- These two ingredient must be fresh. Dried long red pepper- would enhance the flavor and give it a hint of spiciness.

Store Tomato Chutney in an airtight container; it will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Note that this recipe is not suitable for freezing.
