WHAT IS PANEER 65?
30-Minute Homemade Indian Paneer 65 is deep-frying marinated Indian cottage cheese (paneer) and then mix the curry leaves and green pepper (green chili pepper) mixture with the deep-fried paneer cubes. It’s quick and easy like my Chicken 65 recipe. This particular recipe originated in India. This has to be one of my favorite Paneer recipe. In this Paneer 65, batter coated paneer deep-fried in oil, accompanied by fragrant curry leaves and green peppers, offering a delightful Inidian appetizer recipe that complements a range of prominent Indian recipes, such as Lauki Sabzi and Rajma Curry.
STEPS IN MAKING PANEER 65
INGREDIENTS
Paneer- This recipe is good for 1 lbs of paneer. Rice flour- This flour has a neutral taste and no noticeable smell. I’ve tried Chicken 65 as well as Paneer 65 with different flours like gram flour (besan), all-purpose flour, and corn flour, but their strong aftertastes, especially with gram flour, weren’t my favorite. Egg- This ingredient is very important. Egg will help bind the marination when you’re deep frying paneer cube. Ginger garlic paste- I use homemade because nothing beats homemade but you can use store-bought if available. Oil- any neutral oil would work fine I personally use olive oil. Curry leaves- Always use fresh curry leaves not dried curry leaves. Food Color- You can skip that but the red food color will give its bright red color to the recipe.

TIPS
Marinate in a medium size bowl. Don’t substitute rice flour with gram flour (besan). After deep-frying the paneer cubes, place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb the excess oil. Don’t fry on medium-high heat or low heat. Deep-fry on medium flame. Don’t forget the soften the paneer.
