WHAT IS ALOO CHANA?
30-Minute Aloo Chana (Potatoes & Chickpeas) is quick Pakistani/Indian recipe. It originated in Northern India and made its way to Northern Pakistan. It’s not as popular in South of Pakistan. Nevertheless, It’s one pot meal and great for a weeknight dinner. In this recipe, I used canned chickpeas and golden medium potatoes. This is mild spiced just like vegetarian recipe like: Aloo Baigan and Aloo Methi. This is one of my dad’s favorite Pakistani recipes, so we ate this weekly while growing up.
